A day out at the races has never tasted so good! Foodies and wine lovers will delight in the abundance of gourmet food stalls and selection of dozens of Australian wines on offer. Ticket holders can meet celebrity chef, Alastair McLeod, who will motivate and inspire through cooking demonstrations and displays throughout the day. Alastair, who is a regular guest on television programs including Ready Steady Cook, Queensland Weekender and his own show Off The Eaten Track, was trained and worked in several Michelin listed restaurants across Europe and is executive chef at the acclaimed Tank Restaurant and Bar in Brisbane which The Australian recently listed in their Top 50 Restaurants in Australia.
