BANKS are often associated with obscene profits and unreasonable interest-rate rises.

They are less often linked to good-looks, charm and a positive relationship with their customers.

This is not least because of its promotion of Elly Ward to the position of customer relationship officer.

Ms Ward said she looked forward to continuing her hard work so significant returns could be made for the bank's shareholders and community.
