THE Bureau of Meteorology has issued a storm warning for the Tweed.
The warning was issued at 12pm today predicting heavy rainfall along most of the NSW coast.
The bureau has said NSW storms were expected from the Queensland border to Moruya Heads south east of Canberra.
The storm is expected to produce very heavy rainfall, flash flooding, large hailstones and damaging winds.
According to the bureau a trough extends over the NSW causing the unsettled conditions.
A warning has also been issued for the Gold Coast.
