THE McClymonts really got the crowd going at the Optus National Music Muster on Friday night.

Grafton sisters Brooke, Samantha and Mollie McClymont are no strangers to the music scene. Brooke, 29, and Samantha, 23, both had solo careers before their label, Universal, asked if they were ready to perform together.  They haven't looked back.

Fresh back from a tour of the US - they only landed in Australia on Thursday - the girls took some time out before the show to talk to The Gympie Times about their new record, upcoming tour and how much they were looking forward to seeing their dad. Click play on the video to see their exclusive interview.

On stage later that night the girls belted out songs from their new album, Wrapped Up Good, such as Take it Back and brought back old favourites like Love You Like That from their 2006 EP The McClymonts.

The crowd showed their appreciation by singing along, dancing, clapping and cheering, showing particular appreciation for You Were Right (until I proved you wrong).
