AGE has wearied them and the years have condemned, but that didn't stop returned servicemen turning out to remember their fallen mates around the Tweed today.

Crowds gathered at the Murwillumbah War Memorial, Chris Cunningham Park in Tweed Heads and the Kingscliff Cenotaph at 11am today to remember those who gave the greatest sacrifice in all wars Australia has been involved in.

See tomorrow's Tweed Daily News for full coverage and photos from all the Remembrance Day services around the Tweed.

"They shall not grow old as we who are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them. Lest we forget."
