TWO Tweed Coast business owners are teaming up to fundraise for the organisation that protects their beloved coast lifestyle.
Until the end of May, 50c from every $8.50 coffee and cake you buy from La Mar Cafe and Bar in Kingscliff will go to Dunecare.
You also go into the running to win a photographic print by Paget Thompson, owner of Coast- al Visions Photography in Cabarita Beach.
La Mar Cafe and Bar owner Sean Roughan said he and Mr Thompson were keen surfers who loved the ocean.
"We love the water, it's what we live for," Mr Roughan said.
"Dunecare protects our beaches and that helps businesses like ours by protecting the coastline we rely on.
"It's not just about our businesses, it's a community thing, I like to give back wherever I can."
The cafe is located on Marine Pde with locally hired employees, to-die-for Bun coffee and impressive breakfast and lunch menus.
Bun Coffee is made in Byron Bay using Rain Forest Alliance, organic, fair trade and Australian coffee beans.
Coastal Visions Photography is located at The Beach on Pandanus Pde, Cabarita Beach.
Here you'll find a surf art gallery where you can buy prints or hire a surf photographer to take photos of you on the water.
Mr Thompson also does weddings, family portraits and corporate events.
