WHAT'S in a name? If the Bundaberg Library cafe had one, it might be able to tell you.

But since the cafe opened in May it has remained nameless, and now a competition has been launched inviting the public to come up with a name.

Youth and communities librarian Sue Gammon said the cafe, run by the Bundaberg Health Services Foundation to raise funds to improve patient services at Bundaberg Hospital, had added value to the existing services provided at the library.

"It's terrific seeing the area being used socially with many coming in to meet and chat, it really is becoming quite the social scene," she said.

Drop your entry in to the library before December 1. The winner will receive a $50 voucher to use at the café.
