POLICE have reminded drivers to slow down in the wet and drive to the conditions following a car roll-over at Bexhill this morning.

Emergency services dispatched Police Rescue to the single-car crash scene when it was initially thought the driver was trapped.

The driver managed to free himself before police arrived.

Police said he was driving a Holden Rodeo ute in a northerly direction towards Clunes along Bangalow Rd at Bexhill when he lost control of the vehicle and crossed to the wrong side of the road.

He then veered off the road and rolled the vehicle.

The crash occurred at 10.15am this morning.

Police have reminded motorists to drive to the prevailing weather conditions and slow down in the wet.
