US shares fears over Huawei
MONTHS after the Australian Government refused to offer a National Broadband Network contract to Chinese telecommunications company Huawei, a United States congressman has voiced similar concerns.
The US National Business Review reported Congressmen Mike Rogers told a Congress committee warned against using Huawei technology.
It is understood Mr Bowers, a former Federal Bureau of Investigation agent, told CBS American companies should avoid Huawei if they had concerns about intellectual property or "the national security of the US".
