Unconscious man found in stolen car at Palm Beach

Chris Ison

A MAN who overdosed and passed out in a stolen vehicle was revived by paramedics yesterday.

Coolangatta police Sergeant Bill Kaz said the southern Gold Coast man was found unconscious in the car on Palm Beach Ave at 12.30pm.

"Queensland Ambulance Service arrived and revived the man," he said.

"He was transported to Tweed Hospital.

"It was a great job by the ambulance."

Sgt Kaz said the man had been passed out in the car for four hours before he was found.

Other than this incident Sgt Kaz said he was impressed with people's behaviour yesterday.

"We had no fatalities on the road which is great to see," he said.
