Tom Burlinson to play Twin Towns
ONE of Australia's most loved icons is preparing for his latest foot tapping, waist twisting, jaw dropping shows at Twin Towns Services Club.
Tom Burlinson, known for his successful movie career, is looking forward to getting back on stage with The Big Band this weekend for The Best of Tom Burlinson show.
"It's going to be quite a nice mix," he said.
The Fank Sinatra enthusiast said anyone who had seen the show in the past two years would get more bang for their buck with two originals added in, as well as some classic hits from The Beatles, Tom Jones and other smooth sounding artists.
"I just thought lets do something a bit different," he said.
"There will be some great classic songs and the venue just supports the sound."
It is now the third time the show has played at Twin Towns and Burlinson said there was always a great audience at the shows.
Since he 17-years-old all he has known is show business and said he was thankful to have made it.
"I've been fortunate," he said.
"It's what I do and it makes me happy.
"I don't know any different."
The lead actor in The Man From Snowy River recently purchased a beautiful holiday apartment in Burleigh for his wife and three children to enjoy.
