Search for missing woman to continue

Dave Noonan

POLICE and SES volunteers yesterday combed bushland south-west of Brisbane city in search of a 43-year-old woman who went missing last Thursday.

Allison Baden-Clay was last seen by her husband at their Brookfield home at 10pm last Thursday.

Mrs Baden-Clay's parents made a desperate plea for help through the media yesterday asking for any information that may lead to the discovery of their daughter.

The search will continue through Anzac Day.

Police have urged residents, especially those on large rural acreage and former mining sites, to check their properties and to report anything suspicious.

Mrs Baden-Clay is described as Caucasian, approximately 165cms tall with a proportionate build and blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing grey tracksuit pants and a grey/black top with white running shoes.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
