Meryle is taking erotica to a new level with tint of humour

These are the saucy, poetic words of Rockhampton's Meryle Reynolds from her poem Clean Fun.
She takes erotica to a new level - comedy.
After all, perhaps the first thing that comes to mind after reading Clean Fun was a cake of soap, which is what it's really about.
The witty poet will hold her first tour soon, where she will head to venues across the Rockhampton and Gladstone regions and Brisbane.
"It's my first tour. I'll be appearing as Meryle the Pearl, bringing my poems to life," she said.
She will perform poems from her debut book of self-proclaimed cheeky poems.
It was just two years ago when she first began writing seriously.
"It has always been a dream of mine to entertain people. I was at a time in my life that I was a little bored. A family member said why not start writing a book, and I thought well, why not?"
The erotic style of poems will appeal to anyone with a sense of humour.
