RHEED McCracken will arrive home to Bundaberg tomorrow with two Paralympic medals to add to his growing trophy cabinet.

The teenage track star will arrive home from the London Paralympic Games and will touch down at Bundaberg Airport at 4.55pm clutching on to his silver and bronze medals.

NewsMail editor Christina Ongley encouraged members of the Bundaberg community to rock up to the airport and give the 15-year-old Bundaberg high School student a hero's welcome.

"We've spoken to Rheed's dad, Brad, who is incredibly proud of his son and would love to see people come out and show their appreciation for his Paralympic performances," she said.

"It's not often we have a medal winner at that standard of competition and he deserves the best reception Bundy can put on, so we would love it if people turned out to the airport to give Rheed a cheer."
