Police call off car chase, seek help to find driver
TWEED police were forced to pursue a motorist on Tuesday after the vehicle failed to stop for officers at Burringbar.
The pursuit proceeded along Tweed Valley Way to Mooball
Tweed Byron Police Inspector Greg Jago said the pursuit then continued onto the Pacific Hwy towards Pottsville.
"The pursuit was terminated when the driver went into a work area," Insp Jago said.
Police were still looking for the driver of the vehicle.
