SIXTY shades of pink will illuminate the Tweed Heads Tennis Club next week for an annual breast cancer fundraiser.
The Tweed District Tuesday Ladies are banding together once again to raise crucial funds for the Tweed Hospital's chemotherapy ward.
Club member Ruth Coram said the club organised the fundraiser to raise awareness about the horrible disease.
"A few of the girls who play tennis with us also had it," she said.
About 60 players from the Tweed District are expected to rock up decked out in pink.
Fellow club member Kylie Petersen said the girls dressed up in all fashions.
"We all dress up pretty hideously," she said.
"Last year Ruth came in a pink ball gown."
The club house will also be decorated with bras in support of the fundraiser.
It will be pretty and pink all round, even the food will be themed.
The public are encouraged to come down and join in.
There will be many great goodies for everyone to win including a River and Rainforest Cruise, hairdressing vouchers, a signed Titans jersey and some great vouchers for various Tweed businesses.
Join in at the clubhouse on Cunningham St between 9.30am-2.30pm on Tuesday, October 23.
