Pilley upsets top seed to make Spanish final

Valley local Cameron Pilley is into the Santiago Open final following an upset win over Adrian Grant on Friday.

Pilley was in prime touch as he dismantled the top-seeded Brit 11-7, 11-6, 11-5.

The top-ranked Australian will now meet number three seed Simon Rosner, after the German defeated local favourite Borja Golan 11-8, 12-10, 8-11, 11-8.

The match will be Pilley's first final since he triumphed in the Dutch Open in 2010.
