Pete Murray joins M'bah CSG rally
ONE of the state's biggest stands against the coal-seam gas industry will hit Murwillumbah next weekend.
Organisers of Rock the Gate Northern Rivers Rally have confirmed well-known singer and musician Pete Murray will be joining their star-filled concert after the rally.
Lock the Gate Tweed spokesman Michael McNamara said Murray coming to support the rally was fantastic.

The event will have about 3000 people in attendance from all over the Northern Rivers.
"We will be sending a really strong message to Chris Hatcher and the state government," he said.
"We have 97% support for the area to be gas field free."
The rally is just one of the many events going on throughout the nation in support of the Lock the Gate Alliance.
"The event gives residents a chance to make their voices heard and to have a bit of fun at the same time," he said.
"Recent announcements by the NSW Government do not give communities any confidence that they are actually listening to the people they supposedly represent."
To check out the rally and show your support head to the Murwillumbah Showground on October 13 from 10am-6pm.
It is a family friendly and alcohol free event.
