Mystery surrounds car’s bizarre resting place
PIGS might not be able to fly, but evidently neither can Toyota hatchbacks.
A red Toyota has mounted the roundabout on the corner of Dixon St and Florence St, Tweed Heads.
The car has crashed either overnight or this morning and was still precariously perched in place on the roundabout awaiting removal.
Damage was visible on the cars front and rear and the vehicle has caused minor structural damage to the roundabout.
Police were unable to comment on the crash at this time.
Police believe the car was stolen.
