Murwillumbah local shares lotto win
A MURWILLUMBAH resident is now almost $680,000 richer after sharing in a lotto win.
The registered NSW Lotteries player shared the $4 million division one prize pool from last week's Saturday Lotto with six others, earning them a cool $679,047.
Una O'Neill, NSW Lotteries spokesperson, said the it was great to see a win in the town.
"It is great to see a big win come to the Murwillumbah area and with $20 million on offer in this week's Saturday Lotto Superdraw we may see more winners in the area," Ms O'Neill added.
The winning ticket was bought at Sunnyside Newsagency and Office City, at Sunnyside Mall, Wollumbin St.
Ms O'Neill said they immediately contacted the player.
"As the Saturday Lotto winner is a registered Players Cub member NSW Lotteries has contacted them directly about their windfall," Ms O'Neill said.
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto, draw 3213 were 15, 40, 12, 7, 27 and 9, with supplementaries were 4 and 11.
