Mother's Day at Tiffany's
REGENT Cinema Murwillumbah will be hosting a double screening of "Breakfast at Tiffany's" for this coming Mother's Day.
The 1961 classic-starring Audrey Hepburn-was chosen as it is a nostalgic film and can be enjoyed by mothers (and grandmothers) of all ages.
There will be a host of other movies that can be watched on the day, these include the environmentally friendly animation "Dr Seuss: The Lorax", the latest Hollywood blockbuster "The Hunger Games", and "The Best Exotic Marigold".
Deborah Flannery, receptionist at Regent Cinema, said the event is a chance for mothers to enjoy a classic film and relax.
"It's an opportunity for mothers to take a few hours break from their normally busy lives and treat themselves to some 'me' time," she said.
"Bring a picnic and a bottle of wine if you would like to enjoy lunch on the balcony.
"Then grab and espresso from the candy bar with a homemade biscuit and take it in to the art deco cinema with you!"
Breakfast at Tiffany's will be screened at 12:45pm and 5:45pm on Sunday 13 May.
