Morgan smashes six off final ball to end Indian tour

NickStenning

EOIN Morgan provided the perfect ending to England's triumphant tour of India in Mumbai.

A week after England won a Test series in India for the first time in 28 years, Morgan, standing in as captain for the injured Stuart Broad, smashed a six off the final ball of the game from Ashok Dinda to give his team a six-wicket win in the second Twenty20 match.

The effort saw England finish on 4-181 in replay to India's 5-177.

The result meant the series ended 1-all.

It was the tourists' highest Twenty20 run chase, beating the 173 posted against the West Indies at Trent Bridge in June.
