A man has drowned at Palm Beach.

A 43-year-old man from Browns Plains drowned at Tallebudgera Creek, Palm Beach on Sunday afternoon.

The man's body was found in the water about 4.30pm (Qld) by a group of people paddling in the creek.

He was taken to the shore of the creek where he was found dead.

The man was last seen snorkelling before his body was found.

Qld police are preparing a report for the coroner.
