A WOMAN has been charged with reckless wounding and affray in relation to a stabbing at Uki on Wednesday.

A man has also been charged with affray.

The pair were charged after the woman allegedly stabbed another male, a 27-year-old.

Paramedics transported the injured man, who had lost a lot of blood, from Kyogle Rd, Uki, to Tweed Hospital about noon in a stable condition.

A NSW Ambulance spokesman said the man had a wound in the lower back on the right hand side.
