THE Ipswich Challenger is up for this year's Hottest 100 beer poll, where Aussie drinkers are asked to rate the nation's top brews.

The Hottest 100 is currently being run nationally and Peak Crossing brewer Wade Curtis of Four Hearts Brewing wants to put his new brews including the new Ipswich Challenger on the charts.

Several pubs across the city have served Four Hearts beers.

Last year Pale Ale and Summer Wheat ranked number 53 and 99 respectively in the same poll.

"If you have tried our beers locally at The Strand, The Ulster, Yamanto Tavern or Alehouse 24 over the last year and you liked them, I urge you to go online and vote for us," Mr Curtis said.

"Ipswich supported our beer brilliantly last year and we would love to see us rank up there again this year."
