Lions clubs fire up the barbie for Oz Day
TWO local Lions clubs will be turning snags on the barbie on Australia Day.
The Lennox Head Lions Club is holding a barbecue breakfast from 7am to 11am on our national day near the bus shelter opposite 9092 Lennox arcade in the main street.
Local muso Rob Saric will be performing on the day.
The East Ballina Lions Club will be holding their barbecue at Fawcett Park in Ballina's CBD from 8am to 11am.
The money the Lions raise at the barbecues goes back to the community.
