KADINA High School students were dancing and learning at the same time during an interactive hip-hop workshop today.

Melbourne-based Indigenous hip hop projects runs "high-energy" music and dance workshops which teach young people about mental health, physical health, nutrition, education and employment.

The company was employed by The Blue Rock Foundation, which aims to provide opportunities for disadvantaged kids, to visit the region.

Indigenous hip hop projects had Kadina students dancing wildly today and will do the same at Byron Community Primary School tomorrow.
