A POLICE helicopter was called in to help officers on the ground find two boys who ran off after allegedly breaking into a house at Casino yesterday.

Police were called to a house where they arrested an 11-year-old boy yesterday shortly after 3pm.

However, when a 16-year-old Tabulam boy and another male fled, the police helicopter was called in to assist highway patrol and other officers searching for them on the ground.

Police said the helicopter "flushed out" the 16-year-old boy near the Casino train line and he was then arrested by officers on the ground.

Both boys were charged with aggravated break and enter and steal and the 16-year-old was refused bail to appear before Casino Children's Court today.

The younger boy was granted conditional bailed to appear at Casino Children's Court in December.

The third offender is still on the run and police urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Casino Police Station on 02 6662 0099.
