Head-on collision on country road puts three in hospital
A YOUNG girl suffering head injuries is one of three people who were transported to Tweed Hospital after a head-on collision this afternoon.
About noon emergency services were called to the crash at Dulguigan Rd, Tumbulgum.
"An eight-year-old girl was transported with a head wound," an NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said.
"A woman in her 30s was also transported with head wounds."
A male in his 40s suffered a knee and shoulder injury.
All are in a stable condition.
Tweed police were unable to comment on the crash saying they had no information.
