Go pink against breast cancer
THE banks of Tweed River will glow pink on October 22 when scores of miniature pink ladies line the grassland.
The pink lady silhouettes will light up Tumbulgum in a meaningful show of support for women and families affected by breast cancer.
Every day 38 Australian women will be told they have breast cancer and seven will lose their lives to the disease.
The Tweed community is invited to participate on the day that runs from 8am for 8.30am, with a continental buffet breakfast at House of Gabriel costing $16.
At 10-10.30am there will be a traditional planting of the pink silhouettes on the Tweed River bank.
Friends, family and the general public are welcome to attend.
RSVP by October 14 at the TPS office on 02 6672 8459.
