Gilmore attacker faces court

THE man found guilty of assaulting surfing champion Stephanie Gilmore outside her home in 2010 has had his sentencing adjourned until August 16.

Julius Fox appeared in Lismore Local Court on Monday via videolink from Grafton jail and was again denied bail.

Police arrested Fox for an attack on the four-time world champion surfer outside her home at Tweed Heads in December 2010.

Miss Gilmore sustained a head wound and a fractured wrist in the attack.
