LOCALS will get a glimpse into the workings of severe thunderstorms, including the recent devastating Woodburn storm and the Lennox Head tornado, at a special seminar tonight.
Weather gurus from the Bureau of Meteorology will talk about what makes the weather work while also offering tips on how to easily find your way around the bureau's website.
Unfortunately, the seminar is full, so if you haven't got a ticket by now you won't be able to get one.
However, Northern Star reporter Marnie Johnston will be at the seminar, which runs from 7pm to 9pm, and will be tweeting updates all the way through.
So even though you won't be able to go to the seminar yourself, you will be able to follow it here, live, on The Northern Star's website!
