A LATE scoring flurry from all-rounder Jason Floros gave the Bulls something to bowl at in last night's Ryobi Cup final against Victoria at the MCG.

Coming in at No.8, Floros caned 47 from 32 to help his side reach 9-146 from its allotted 32 overs, with rain intervening earlier in the day.

Floros hit three fours and two sixes.

It was just the innings the 22-year-old needed in just his ninth domestic one-dayer, after he moved to Brisbane from Canberra in the winter of 2009 looking for an opportunity.

The rest of the Bulls' batting line-up struggled in overcast, bowler-friendly conditions, with only Greg Moller and Peter Forrest (26 each) showing promise.

Moller can look back at his season with a smile, after scoring 120 in a Sheffield Shield game against Western Australia earlier this month.

It was his first game back in the Queensland set-up in over three years.

The Bushrangers fired from the outset with the ball, with Clint McKay, Darren Pattinson, John Hastings and William Sheridan taking two wickets each.

Leg spinner Fawad Ahmed took the prized wicket of Forrest, with Sheridan (7.50 per over) the only expensive bowler, as Floros helped his side score 38 off its last three overs.

The Bushrangers were 4-82 after 22 overs, with James Hopes (Rob Quiney for five) and Ryan Harris (Aaron Finch for seven) taking big scalps early in the chase.

But Cameron White (21 off 27) and Peter Handscomb (20 off 35) were leading a recovery mission.

By the time the hosts opted to take a three-over powerplay in the 23rd over, they needed 65 off 60 to win.
