Flood recovery information point open

CLARENCE Valley Council has established a flood recovery information point at the Council Chambers at 2 Prince Street Grafton which will be open from today.

This service is an interim measure to provide flood affected residents with information prior to the opening of the recovery centre.

The recovery centre will be open from Monday, February 4 at the old Black Toyota site (106 Prince Street Grafton).

The recovery centre will have representatives from Disaster Welfare Services, Centrelink, Department of Primary Industries and other related agencies.

Clarence Valley Council Mayor Richie Williamson said this is a great opportunity for affected citizens to get in touch with services that can be of great assistance at this time of need.

The flood recovery information point can be contacted by phone on 02 6643 0222.
