Fairytale experience at TAFE

KINGSCLIFF TAFE's event students are getting behind the cause as they gear up to raise funds for the up coming Cancer Council's Biggest Morning Tea.

The TAFE restaurant will come alive on Wednesday, May 9 when it holds the Mad Hatters Maddest Morning Tea.

The morning tea will be filled with quirky decorations, great costumes and an atmosphere of hope and happiness.

TAFE event management teacher Kylie Jones said the morning tea will be very interesting.

"The students have worked long and hard and plan to make it very different compared to other morning teas being held in the area," she said.

"Students want to take guests away from their normal lives and into a fairytale-like experience full of fun and laughter."

People are encouraged to attend dressed in costume or wearing bizarre hats, funky ties and or eccentric socks.

Students hope to attract more than 80 people on the day and plan to raise around $500 for the Cancer Council.

Everyone is welcome for a small fee of $5 which includes food, drink and a fantastic morning.

The morning tea will be held in the Caldera Restaurant from 10:30am.
