IF YOU want to learn all you can about flowers then the Twin Towns and District Garden Club's Flow and Garden Expo is where you should be next week.
The club's publicity officer Rewa Jarman said this year's expo was going to be bigger and better than ever.
"There will be plenty to see and do all day with the workshops," she said.
After a welcome to country by Aunty Kath Lena the workshops will kick off in full force.
Mosaic pottery will be explored with artist Sarah Lysaght, African violets with enthusiast Bob Moore and orchids with keen gardener Bob Rivett.
The finer details of Cacti, succulents and bromeliads will be explored by Kath Henderson.
If that was not enough Mrs Jarman said there would be floral art demonstrations, talks offering top gardening hints and techniques, and a presentation of awards and prizes.
"As well as the workshops there are the professional judges for the flower and plant show, a plant and garden accessories sale, an environmental weeds advice and dune care display and information," she said.
"Light refreshments will be available."
The Garden Expo will be held at the Tweed Heads Civic Centre on September 15.
Entry is $3 with children free.
