Escaped murderer Bowhay recaptured south of Bredbo
PRISON escapee Adam Bowhay will front court on Friday after being re-captured near Bredbo.
Bowhay is serving a 23-year jail sentence for the 1997 murder of Steven Jarvis in Casino.
A member of the public spotted him on a road south of Bredbo about 11.30am Thursday.
He was taken to the Cooma police station and charged with escaping custody and larceny.
EARLIER: Convited murderer Adam Bowhay has been recaptured after escaping custody two days ago.

Bowhay is serving a 23-year jail sentence for the 1997 murder of Steven Jarvis in Casino.
He had just been denied parole when he fled a work release farm near Cooma on Tuesday.
A state-wide alert was issued as Bowhay had connections to the Central Coast and northern NSW.
He is being taken to the Cooma police station where it is expected he will be charged later today.
