Drugs found in raid

POLICE uncovered cocaine, crystal methamphetamine and cannabis in a raid on a Chilcotts Grass home yesterday afternoon.

A 32 year-old man watched as officers from the Richmond LAC Drug Unit and Lismore Detectives executed a search warrant at the house on George Drive at 3pm.

During the search police uncovered 32 grams of cocaine, 12 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 21 grams of cannabis, numerous resealable plastic bags and scales, $965 in cash and four mobile phones.

Police said they also found vials of  what they suspect is anabolic steroids.

The man was arrested and taken to Lismore police station where he was charged with two counts of supplying a prohibited drug, two counts of possessing a prohibited drug and dealing in the proceeds of crime.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Lismore Local court on January 14.
