"DAME Edna" dropped in to the Bilambil retirement Village for a cuppa on Friday.
"I love to support cancer research darlings," she said.
"I always visit my friends at Bilambil.
"The possums are wonderful company."
Over 50 people gathered to eat scrumptious cakes, biscuits and even Scotch eggs at the "Biggest Morning Tea" to raise funds for the cancer Council.
"It's a very good cause," said organiser Nancy Hogg.
"We are very pleased with the turn-out.
"The weather was perfect and the company was lively and interesting."

The cancer Council works with members, the eight state and territory cancer organisations to undertake and fund cancer research, prevent and control cancer and provide information and support for people affected by cancer.
