WHAT has cooking got to do with protected wildlife?

The question will be answered next Tuesday when well-known TV personality and chef Matt Moran visits Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.

In the final leg of a tour that promotes tourism, the visit is part of his journey as he travels around the country to experience and promote quality tourism operators that have been rigorously assessed to receive the endorsement of Australia's new national symbol of tourism quality, the T-QUAL Tick.

Experiencing Queensland 'T-QUAL Style', Matt's action-packed itinerary will take him to unique T-QUAL endorsed activities, tours and products in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast.

After finding his sea legs on a SeaWorld Whale Watch Tour, Mr Moran will be getting up-close-and-personal with the native wildlife at the sanctuary.

Mr Moran is well known as a celebrity chef on various TV cooking shows.

The Chopping Block was hosted by Mr Moran himself and he also joined the third season of MasterChef Australia as a judge.
