IF you're considering a career in animal and wildlife care, then look no further than an upcoming Currumbin expo.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is hosting its annual Wildlife and Animal Careers Expo, now in its eighth year, on Saturday, August 4.

Representatives from the sanctuary, RSPCA, Gold Coast City Council and Wildcare will attend, as well as university and TAFE staff with information on relevant course.

The day will mean those wishing to pursue a career in the industry can talk with those already involved.

The expo will include a trade display and presentations.

It will be held in the Lorikeet Arena at the sanctuary. Entry is free.
