WANT to tone up your tummy and thighs?

It sounds like an ad for TV, but a group of mums are doing it the easy way.

Leo Hoffs and partner Alicia run special paddle boarding sessions for mums.

Starting at about 10am, after dropping the kids at school, women get to trim up while enjoying the serene art of floating down the river.

"It's a great way to get fit and have social interaction at the same time," Mr Hoffs said.

"You can drop the kids off at 9.30am and get together with friends for a paddle.

"It's very sociable, with mums getting to chinwag and swap notes."

At $10 a session, it's also a cheap way to get fresh air and exercise, while learning balance and taking advantage of the views at Currumbin Creek.

"It's very popular," Mr Hoffs said.

"You don't have to be a high-performance athlete to do it.

"Anyone can do it."

To find out more, contact Leo or Alicia on 07 5525 0338 or 0422 614 205.

Sessions begin again on September 1.
