WOOLWORTHS is seeking an extension of opening and delivery hours at its proposed Cabarita supermarket.

NSW Planning is seeking public comment on a proposal to increase operating hours to 9pm seven days a week including public holidays.

The opening hours approved in 2009 were for 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Wednesday and Friday, to 9pm Thursday, to 5pm Saturday and 4pm Sunday and public holidays.

These hours were approved to reduce noise concerns.

Woolworths was also seeking to extend delivery hours between 10am and midnight Sundays and public holidays.

The grocer has previously modified the plan to increase the supermarket space, relocate the lobby to the residential units and relocate the loading dock.

The previous modifications were approved in last December.
