Bus crash at Beenleigh

POLICE and emergency services are currently attending a bus crash on the Pacific Motorway (M1) at Beenleigh.

Initial information is that a bus and a car collided on the Pacific Motorway shortly after 11am causing the bus to roll onto its side.

Preliminary information is that there are approximately 20 people onboard the bus. 

It is believed that one person may be seriously injured and a number of other people with minor injuries.

The Pacific Motorway is currently closed with southbound traffic being diverted off at exit 30.

The motorway is expected to be closed for some time and motorists are asked to avoid the area.

There is no further information available at this time.
