Tweed teen Lauryn Cribb is the middle of three children, with a brother on either side.

She has no illusions about competing with some of the most beautiful women in the world.
"I see it as a big challenge, but also as an adventure," the 18 year-old said. Ms Cribb heads to Uluru for the Aussie finals from June 27-30.
Competing with 26 others she is hoping to win a place in the finals to be held in Inner Mongolia in August.
"She is having an interesting gap year," said her father and paramedic, Leon Cribb.
"Next year she will embark on a degree in digital media. She's getting insight into being on both sides of the camera.
