A Kingscliff doctor’s surgery seeking a new home

FORMER office space in Kingscliff is being converted into a doctor's surgery.

An application is with Tweed Shire Council to convert officer space in Kingscliff Central on Pearl St into a doctor's surgery.

"A single general practitioner, Doctor Frank Wyton, will operate from the tenancy," the application stated.

"Dr Wyton has been operating as a sole practitioner from his current practice on Marine Parade for more than 30 years.

"This application seeks to continue his operations within more modern premises.

"As such, the staff will be minimal, with a maximum of three at any one time (GP, nurse and receptionist)."

Dr Wyton was unavailable for comment on the move.
