Division minor premiers crowned

TWEED wrapped up their 2010 season on Saturday and, following last night's final round of games, will head to the finals this Saturday.

The minor premiers for each divisions were:

Div 1 – Independent THP

Div 2 – Saints Panthers

Div 3 – Saints Barracudas

Cadet A – Kingscliff Stars

Cadet B – Banora Willy Wagtails

13/14A – Seagulls Sonics

13/14B – Terranora Tactix

12s – Banora Pelicans

11s – Cudgen Crushers

10s – Cudgen Cheetahs

The second-placed teams for each division have not yet been decided as many are based on a countback of goal averages as some teams have completed the rounds on even points.

These will all be checked and placed on our website by tomorrow.

Play hard but fair and respect all umpires as at Tweed we have a zero tolerance for umpire abuse from both players and spectators.

Tickets ($35) are available to our end-of-season presentation dinner on September 24 at Visions Twin Towns.

Rep 2011 trial dates 4.30pm to 7pm (NSW time) – 12-13 years October 13, and 14-17 years October 20.

State events are Challenge Carnival at Townsville April 30-May 2; State Championships June 11-13 at Metropolitan Districts, Brisbane, and the Country Carnival July 24-25 at Logan City.

Nominations forms for rep coaches for the 2011 season are now available from the office.
