THE Bilambil Jets still have plenty of fight left in them and it will be full battle stations tomorrow when they take on Currumbin Eagles at Bilambil Sports Ground.
This is the last game of the Bycroft Cup season before the semi-finals and the pressure is looming for the Jets.
The last time the Jets played the Eagles in round 11 they had a comfortable 30-point victory.
Coach Troy McCarthy said he watched the video from Currumbin's game last weekend when they played Tugun.
“We ran away with it last time we played them but we expect something better this time,” he said.
Kick-off is 3pm.
Bilambil is also hosting its Old Boys day tomorrow and all past players, coaches, committee and staff are welcome tomorrow.
It is the end of the season for neighbourhood rivals South Tweed Koalas after their first year returning to first grade competition.
Coach Dean Allen said his team had done better than everyone had expected.
“In the last couple of weeks we just ran out of troops but it was good to be back in first grade,” he said.
