Taroom-Wandoan all-rounder Cameron Phillips in action.
TAROOM-Wandoan all-rounder Cameron Phillips could be labelled the Bradman of the bush after a magnificent season that has seen him make three centuries and average an astonishing 399.
Phillips is preparing for this weekend’s Chinchilla and District Cricket Association grand final against Jandowae.
The 26-year-old farmer has only played six games due to work and various social commitments, but after his first five innings of 68 not out (no), 101 no, 100 no, 20 no and 100 no, Phillips did not have an average because he had not been dismissed.
It was only a rare failure by Phillips in his last game before the finals against Brigalow two weeks ago when he out for 10, that saw him able to work out his startling Bradman-esque average of 399.
