DON’T let the north coast of NSW fall victim to the digital divide.

Southern Cross University has called on local businesses to speak up on why the area should be the first to receive high speed internet.

Leading a collaborative initiative to convince the Federal Government the roll-out of high-speed broadband service should start here, Professor of Information Technology and Information Systems at SCU Peter Croll has developed a survey.

“We want to hear from businesses how high speed broadband would benefit them,” he said.

“We aim to present a submission to the Minister for Broadband, Communication and the Digital Economy showing why they should choose this region for the next NBN rollout.”
